		The LAFIA system enables easy creation of a managed database of blood cell images encountered during routine work, by converting cells viewed under a microscope into a digital form and filing them together with patient attribute information. Stored blood cell images are immediately available for diagnostics support. When working in a Client-Server system, the LAFIA server collectively files and manages the digitized image data taken from a number of LAFIA client workstations. Images stored in the LAFIA server (Web server) are accessible from any location via Intranet and/or Internet using a Web browser.
