Sysmex America honored by Premier healthcare alliance for exceeding performance expectations

Mundelein, Illinois – June 12, 2008 – Sysmex America, Inc. today announced that it is a winner of a Premier Performance Award, presented by the Premier healthcare alliance’s Purchasing Partners unit.

Sysmex America is one of 54 of more than 800 Premier contracted suppliers to receive the Performance Award, which recognizes the efforts of contracted suppliers to meet or exceed Premier members’ service expectations.

“It is with great honor that Sysmex America accepts this Performance Award from Premier as it represents the collective feedback of our joint customers.  To know that we have met our customers’ expectations of performance and customer service is gratifying,” said John Kershaw, President, Sysmex America, Inc.  “We look forward to supporting their continued efforts as they seek to improve the healthcare of the communities in which they serve,” he added.

 

Bonnie Streeter, MSA, MT (ASCP), SH, DLM, National Accounts Manager, Sysmex America, accepted the award at the 2008 Premier Annual Breakthroughs Conference & Exhibition in Nashville, Tenn. The award ceremony was held on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry and featured a special presentation from country music legend Naomi Judd.

“Premier’s Performance Award honors top performing suppliers that understand the importance of collaboration and striving for performance excellence,” said Premier Purchasing Partners President Mike Alkire. “We’re happy to recognize these companies as we work together to improve the healthcare of our communities.”

In selecting recipients, satisfaction and performance data are collected and scored over four successive calendar quarters. Feedback is provided during regular supplier business line reviews. Organizations scoring 80 percent or higher earn the Performance Award.
