Q:  What are some of the benefits of webinars?
 
A few of the key benefits are:
 
Industry experts present relevant topics.
The learning method is brief, convenient and doesn’t require any travel.
Contact hours are readily available.
There is no cost to participants.
No prerequisites are required.  Join as many as you wish.
Recordings will be available for people who can’t attend the live event.
Webinars are available to everyone interested in any topic.

Q:  Does it cost anything to join a webinar?

 No, it is complementary to join any webinar.  You may join the meeting for free as long as you register.

Q:  Are there any prerequisites for any of the webinars?

There are no prerequisites for the webinars.  Each is a standalone learning opportunity.  You may join as few or many as desired.

Q:  How do I register for a webinar?
 
Each participant needs to provide requested information on the webinar registration form on the Sysmex website. For a list of webinars
to choose from, go to www.sysmex.com/webinars.  
 
Q:  How do I join a webinar?
 
After registering, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.  You will also receive a reminder e-mail before the event, which includes a link to join the webinar.  The same link is also available on the event in your Outlook calendar if you have added the webinar to your calendar.

Please test your system before the start of the webinar to assure that you do not have any technical problems.
 

Q:  How do I obtain presentation material for a webinar?

For live webinars, a link to each presentation is available on your registration confirmation e-mail and the follow-up e-mails. For On-Demand Webinars, most handouts are be available upon login to each webinar.

Q:  How do I obtain my contact hour from P.A.C.E. or Florida after attending a live webinar?*
 
For individual attendees:
  1. Register for your webinar prior to joining the webinar.
  2. To join a webinar, click on the link in your event confirmation e-mail.
  3. Attend the webinar.
  4. Complete the evaluation and the brief quiz as instructed at the end of each webinar.
For group attendees:
  1. Register for your webinar prior to joining the webinar.
  2. To join a webinar, click on the link in your event confirmation e-mail.
  3. Attend the webinar.
  4. In the Q&A panel, enter all participant email addresses
  5. Complete the evaluation and the brief quiz as instructed at the end of each webinar
*You must register with the Sysmex Customer Resource Center to obtain your contact hour.  
 
Q:  My staff is also interested in receiving CE credits from Sysmex Webinars.  How can they do that?
  1. Each participant must register prior to joining the webinar.
  2. To join a webinar, click on the link in your event confirmation e-mail. During the log in process,you will be asked to provide all participants information (e-mail or names)
  3. Each applicant must log in to the Sysmex site using his/her username and password to receive a CEU.
  4. Attend the webinar.
  5. Each person who wishes to earn a CEU must complete his/her own evaluation and a five question quiz as instructed during the webinar.
Four out of the five questions must be correctly answered to pass the quiz. After passing the quiz, a CEU certificate will appear for you to print and file. Sysmex will then submit your information to the appropriate accrediting organization to officially recognize your CEU credit.
 
Q:  If I registered, but I cannot attend the meeting, will a recording be available to view on a later date?
 
Yes, a recording of each webinar (On-Demand) will be posted on the Sysmex webinar page within a few weeks after each live webinar. On-demand webinars are located in the "View a Webinar" section of the Webinar page once they are posted.

Q:  How can I obtain credit for an on-demand (previously recorded) webinar?*
  1. Go to www.sysmex.com/webinars, located in the "View a Webinar" section of the Webinar page.
  2. Click on the webinar you desire to watch.
  3. Click on the “Watch Now” button.
  4. Log in (if you already have an account) or register for an account.
  5. View the webinar.
  6. Click on the For Your CEU button to complete your evaluation and quiz. You must correctly answer 80% of the quiz questions to pass. After passing the quiz, a contact hour certificate will appear for you to print and file.
* Note: Anyone wishing to obtain credit must register individually and be logged in to obtain credit under your own name.
