Six video case studies each of which highlights one of the following diagnoses with a focus on how to interpret the Sysmex analyzer data: Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, Acute Undifferentiated Leukemia, Plasma Cell Leukemia, Hereditary Spherocytosis, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia/Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma, Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Objectives:

  • Identify the normal clinical presentation and lab results relevant to the disease state presented in each case.
  • Discuss how the data from the Sysmex analyzer aided in the diagnosis made by the clinician in each case.
  • Describe the abnormal cell morphology present in each case.
