In most circumstances, correlation with clinical parameters or results of other clinical tests will define the etiology for CBC abnormalities. This session will describe extended laboratory testing used to evaluate and differentiate blood cancers including immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry and FISH. Case studies will be used to demonstrate the correlation of CBC results with other extended testing results in the evaluation and differential diagnosis of leukemias and lymphomas.
