This presentation touches briefly on types of leukemia but the main focus is on Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). This presentation provides an in-depth look at the cause of CML, how it is diagnosed and how it is treated. Four case studies are presented to demonstrate how symptoms and treatments can vary from patient to patient.

  • Summarize the basics of leukemia
  • Explore the cause, diagnostic approach and treatment of CML
  • Review four case studies of patients with CML
