This presentation will provide an overview of body fluid examination and will review normal cell types found in fluids along with tips to identify rare or malignant cells. Numerous patient case studies will be presented.

Objectives:

  • Describe manual and automated counting techniques for body fluids
  • Recognize normal cells and characteristics of malignant cells found in body fluids
  • Review patient case studies to reinforce knowledge

This session provides 1 contact hour through P.A.C.E.® and the state of Florida.
