pocHi-Hematology-Analyzer

Sysmex pocH-100i Automated Hematology Analyzer

Hematology Testing Made Easy

The pocH-100i hematology analyzer, designed for laboratories testing up to 25 samples per day, has the smallest footprint of any hematology analyzer on the market. Requiring only 15 µL of EDTA whole blood for reporting 17 clinical parameters with a 3-part WBC Differential, it includes an Absolute Neutrophil Count (ANC). Quality processes are addressed with the pocH-100i closed tube sampling and simple reagent system. Six on-board QC files support assurance of instrument performance. The intuitive push button menu simplifies the operation of this analyzer.

Red Blood Cells and Platelets - WBCs, RBCs and PLTs are counted using the direct current detection method with hydrodynamic focusing technology to minimize coincidence or recirculation. Automatic discriminators separate the cell populations based on complex algorithms. The intensity of the electronic pulse from each analyzed cell is proportional to the cell volume.

Hemoglobin and Hematocrit Analysis - Hemoglobin analysis is conducted using a non-cyanide method. The hemoglobin method shows excellent correlation with the reference method. Hematocrit (HCT) is directly determined based on the red cell count and volume detection of each individual RBC. Even with samples at extremely low or unusually high concentrations, the Sysmex cell counters analyze WBCs, RBCs and PLTs with uncompromised precision and accuracy.
